The week ahead forecast by Cork – All Things Weather

  • Temperatures for Tuesday & Wednesday are nice at an expected high of 15°C and dry with the continued breeze from the NW. Temperatures at night will be between 5 – 7°C.
  • However from Thursday on (at least to and including Sunday) we will notice a change in temperatures as during the days these daily highs are starting to become lower. Thursdays high is expected to be around 13 / 14°C, Friday 10°C, Saturday 7°C, and Sunday 8°C. While it should be a dry week, the temperatures showing that Autumn may be tempted to pack up and leave.
  • It’s possible that night-time temperatures will fall back to 0 / 1°C due to winds from a Northerly direction.

A cold front is set to approach the Northwest coast, early into Thursday night and chances of rain becoming persistent in the north and west early into the night. The cold front, will sweep southeastwards throughout the night introducing a much colder artic airmass across the country.

Cold spells, frost and some ice is to be expected! There is a temp feel factor of -2°C on Saturday evening (late) currently forecasted.
