Tonight is expected to be dry with clear spells across the country. Met Éireann, has also forecasted that some patches of mist or fog will develop in near calm conditions. The lowest temperatures will range from 4 to 8 degrees Celsius.

For those with allergies, the pollen forecast for Saturday is moderate and low on Sunday. The solar UV index will be high on Saturday and moderate on Sunday.

Tomorrow, on Saturday morning, any patchy mist and fog will soon clear to give a largely dry day with spells of sunshine. However, cloud will increase from the west during the evening. It is predicted to be quite warm with highest temperatures ranging from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius and light, variable breezes.

The national outlook for the weekend is mainly dry, apart from some rain on Saturday night and Sunday. Friday and Saturday will be warm, but the weather is expected to become cooler from Sunday onwards.

On Saturday night, there will be dry conditions initially, but rain and drizzle will develop in the west and northwest around midnight and will spread eastwards to most areas overnight. The lowest temperatures will be around 8 to 10 degrees Celsius with mostly light southerly winds, which will be fresher along Atlantic coasts.

Sunday will start off mostly cloudy and damp with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will gradually clear eastwards with sunny spells and perhaps a few light showers following. It will become noticeably cooler as the rain clears with moderate to fresh northwest winds becoming established and highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees Celsius.

Sunday night is expected to be mainly dry with clear spells and a few showers in the northwest. Lowest temperatures will be around 4 to 8 degrees Celsius with light to moderate northwest breezes.
