Uisce Éireann crews are currently addressing a burst pipe that may cause water supply disruptions in Killard, Clogheen, and the surrounding areas in County Cork. The repair works are scheduled to continue until 6pm on 1st July.

Every effort is being made to maintain water supply to as many customers as possible during the repair period. A traffic management plan has been implemented to ensure safety and minimise disruption while the works are underway.

Niall O’Riordan, Operations Lead at Uisce Éireann, has assured customers that the team is working diligently to complete the repairs swiftly.

“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our crews work to ensure that a normal water supply is returned to all of our customers as quickly as possible,” he said.

Uisce Éireann advises customers to allow two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to return to homes and businesses.

For vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann, direct communications are provided for both planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. The company continues to offer detailed, real-time local information about water service and supply issues on their website, www.water.ie.
