A damp and cloudy night is expected as patches of light rain and drizzle persist in Munster. The lowest temperature will be 7 to 9 degrees. Monday, will remain cloudy with occasional patchy rain and drizzle in the morning, and heavier rain will move in from the west in the afternoon with the possibility of heavy falls. The temperature will range from 11 to 14 degrees, with moderate southerly winds.

The weather will remain unsettled over the coming week with rain and showers, some of which may be heavy. There will be moderate to fresh southerly winds, with some areas experiencing blustery conditions at times. On Monday night, rain outbreaks will clear northward, and further showery rain will move in from the southwest. Some of the showers may be heavy, or even thundery, with low temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Tuesday will begin with a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells, but cloud will increase from the southwest, gradually spreading northeastwards across the country. Moderate southwesterly winds and temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees are expected.

Tuesday night will be a wet one, with widespread rain, which will turn heavy in some places. There will be an increase in wind speed on Atlantic coasts, while lowest temperatures range from 4 to 7 degrees.

Rain will clear to the north on Wednesday morning, but showers and sunny spells will follow for the rest of the day. Some prolonged showers may occur over the northern half of the country. Moderate to fresh westerly winds will persist, with temperatures ranging from 7 to 11 degrees. Wednesday night will be mostly dry with scattered showers and clear spells, but it will be a cold night with temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees in light winds.

Thursday will have widespread showers that may turn heavy, with temperatures ranging from 7 to 11 degrees. The weekend ahead will remain unsettled, with rain and showers at times. No sign of a change is expected for Friday, with the weather remaining unsettled.
