Rowing Ireland and Cork County Council hosted an official homecoming for the Irish Olympic Rowing Team at the National Rowing Centre, Farran, Co, Cork.

The event was attended by the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr. Gillian Coughlan;  An Taoiseach, Micheál Martin; Minister of State, Dept. of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Jack Chambers, TD; CEO of Rowing Ireland, Michelle Carpenter; President of Rowing Ireland, Eamonn Colclough; Cork County Council Deputy CEO, Clodagh Henehan and the Australian Ambassador to Ireland, Gary Gray.
