An Garda Síochána Cork Division has announced revised opening hours for Carrigaline Garda Station following a recent review. The changes aim to enhance service delivery to the community within the greater Carrigaline catchment area.
The new opening hours are as follows:
- Every Tuesday: 12:00 – 14:00
- Every Thursday: 12:00 – 14:00
- Every Second Sunday: 11:00 – 14:00
Additionally, the station will open two evenings per week from 17:00 – 19:00, with specific days advertised locally one week in advance.
For residents requiring assistance outside these times, Togher Garda Station, offering a 24-hour service, is the nearest alternative.
The Garda Station Directory, available on the An Garda Síochána website, provides detailed information about all stations, including Carrigaline. Visitors to Carrigaline Garda Station can scan a QR code at the station to access contact details for their local Sergeant’s office. Email queries will be responded to within 24 hours.
It is important to note that Gardaí continue to operate in the community outside these fixed hours through patrols, investigations, and community engagement. For immediate assistance or emergencies, the public should dial 999/112, where calls will be managed through the GardaSAFE Control Room system, ensuring an efficient response.
This update underscores An Garda Síochána’s commitment to improving services and ensuring public safety across the Carrigaline area.
