An urgent allergy alert has been issued regarding certain batches of Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns. The affected product, sold in Aldi stores, has been mispacked with Let’s Party Hoisin Duck Bao Buns.

The mispacked items contain sesame seeds and duck meat, neither of which are declared on the ingredients list. This poses a potential health risk to consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of sesame seeds.

The recall applies to all batch codes and best-before dates of the Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns 8-pack.

The Food Safety Authority advises anyone with a sesame seed allergy to avoid consuming the affected product and to return it to the point of purchase for a refund.
