The Cadet School of the Irish Defence Forces has announced that it will be conducting a military exercise at Marino Point from Monday, 2nd December, until Thursday, 5th December. The exercises will include firing activities starting at 9:00 AM each day and concluding by 10:00 PM.

This update aims to pre-empt any concerns, particularly given the confusion that surrounded the same exercise last year.

The Cadet School has confirmed that it is in contact with An Garda Síochána, who are aware of the activity and prepared to inform the local community as needed.

Residents with questions are encouraged to contact the Cadet School via Instagram, where the staff will address any concerns during this period.
