One of Cork’s most beloved attractions, Smugglers Cove, is set to expand with two thrilling new additions opening this weekend.

The first new attraction, ‘Rebel Rampage,’ is Ireland’s largest outdoor inflatable obstacle course, stretching over 300 metres long. This exhilarating course, featuring more than 30 obstacles, has already created a buzz online with exciting social media previews. Suitable for anyone over the age of 8, Rebel Rampage can accommodate up to 80 participants per session.

Geoff Wycherley, the owner of Smugglers Cove, expressed his enthusiasm for the new attractions: “We are always exploring new ways to expand with families in mind, and this year our exciting new attractions do just that, offering something for adults, teenagers, and children.”

Another family-friendly addition is the new Driving School, an interactive kids’ activity with electric ride-on mini cars. The Driving School is designed for children under 12 and features scaled-down roadways complete with road signs and roundabouts, allowing kids to learn and enjoy the basics of driving. The cars also include a secondary seat for an adult to assist younger children.

The expansion follows the successful launch of the Tubing Park in summer 2021, which drew over 80,000 visitors from across Ireland, more than doubling the number of visitors from the previous year. The Tubing Park offers a unique snow-free ski run experience with brightly coloured tubes providing a fun downhill ride overlooking the picturesque village of Rosscarbery.

In addition to Rebel Rampage and the Kids’ Driving School, Smugglers Cove boasts a variety of attractions, including a mini golf course, a timber maze, and a huge corn maze open during the summer months.

Rebel Rampage and the Kids’ Driving School officially open today, Saturday, June 1st. Visitors are encouraged to book their slots now at www.smugglerscove.ie
