The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simon Coveney T.D., has expressed his condolences to the people of China on the loss of life as a result of yesterday’s plane crash in Guangxi province.

Minister Coveney said:

 I was deeply saddened to hear of the plane crash in Guangxi yesterday. This is a terrible tragedy for those most immediately affected but also for the people of China.  Our thoughts are with the victims and their families at this sad time.
