After a tough 21 months, everyones favourite funfair returns to Cork! Following a long lockdown, and numerous restrictions – the much loved attraction is finally allowed to reopen and their first stop is Cork.

We spoke to Laurie Bird, spokesperson for Funderland:

Staff and customer safety is our number one priority. We will be operating the normal pay per ride way. Some people may be disappointed but we have to operate within restrictions and put staff and customer safety first as you can appreciate.

I have to say we have been overwhelmed with the positive response to the news we were coming back to Cork, it really touched our hearts. We are working hard and it’s definitely a big motivation now for us. We love Cork it’s always our favourite event.

Funderland returns to Creamfields, Tramore Road on October 1st, and runs until October 17th and is open Monday to Friday from 4pm – 10pm, and Saturday/Sunday from 2pm – 10pm.
