Cork City Council is advising road users to exercise caution as a status yellow rain and wind warning is in place across Cork and the rest of the country. 

Heavy rain is expected tonight, St Stephens Night, with strong southerly winds overnight. Road users are asked to travel with care. Heavy showers are also expected tomorrow. 

A status orange rainfall warning is in place for West Cork and Kerry from 8pm tonight to midnight on Thursday/Friday. Very heavy rain is expected overnight followed by intense showers.
