Bus Éireann would like to advise all customers that there will be significant service cancellations, both on Thursday night, 23 January and Friday 24 January, due to the national Red Weather warnings as a result of Storm Éowyn.

To ensure the health and safety of customers and employees, no services will operate for the duration of this Red Weather Warning. Further disruptions are likely both prior to, and after, the Red Weather Warning times to allow time to safely suspend services and then assess any damage on routes to allow them to restart operations.

Full details of all service cancellations for both days will be posted on the Service Updates section of their website.

The safety of passengers and staff is of paramount importance to Bus Éireann and would advise all passengers to adhere to the advice of Met Éireann and the emergency services during this period of adverse weather.  

Bus Éireann would like to reiterate there will be a gradual return of services after the Red Weather alert clears provided it is safe to do so. They do expect there to continue to be disruption due to the aftermath of the storm.

Bus Éireann apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused however these cancellations are to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

 24 Hour Services Update:

Bus Éireann operates four 24-hour PSO services – Routes 109A, 101, 220 and 343. These services will not operate during their respective Red Weather Warning periods. Please find below information on last departure times –
