Blackwater Motor Group has officially launched its annual food drive appeal in support of Cork Penny Dinners, Cork’s oldest charity. The initiative, now in its fourth year, was unveiled at the Audi Cork showrooms in Bishopstown, with the support of Audi Cork and Blackwater Motors Brand Ambassadors, along with Cork Penny Dinners Trustees Volunteer Coordinator, Caitríona Twomey.

This year’s food drive runs from Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 20th, and the group has set up collection points at their dealerships in Bishopstown, Cork City, Fermoy, and Skibbereen. Staff, customers, and members of the public are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items, which will be redistributed to Cork Penny Dinners during Christmas week.

Richard Schoonbaert, Sales Manager at Audi Cork, highlighted the importance of the campaign at the launch, stating:

“As a group, we are long-term supporters of Cork Penny Dinners and we understand the vital role the donations make to the charity and would encourage people to support where they can. We have drop off points in our dealerships located in Bishopstown, Cork, Fermoy, and Skibbereen.”

Cork Penny Dinners continues to provide essential support to those in need, especially during the festive season. To find the nearest dealership location and participate in the food drive, visit blackwatermotors.ie.
