Gardaí have arrested a man, in relation to the serious assault that occurred at the junction of Grand Parade and Oliver Plunkett Street shortly after 5pm on Friday 6th September, 2024.

The man, aged in his 20s was arrested this morning, Saturday 7th September, 2024 and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice at a Garda station in Cork City.
