• Easter Bank Holiday weekend coincides with the start of the busy 2024 Summer Schedule, which starts this Sunday, March 31.
• Across the extended Easter break, over 130,000 passengers are expected to fly to and from Cork Airport.
• Cork Airport is expecting thousands of tourists to fly in from the UK, Europe and further afield to enjoy the Easter break in Cork and across the South of Ireland.
• Families will take the opportunity to escape the dull weather and fly to warmer climes in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, while thousands more jet off on UK and European city breaks. 

Almost 50,000 passengers are expected to fly to and from Cork Airport this coming Easter Bank Holiday weekend, with Good Friday, March 29 expected to be the busiest day of the weekend.

With cold and wet weather conditions lasting for an extended period across Ireland, many will take the opportunity of the extended Easter break to jet off to warmer, sunnier climes like Alicante, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Valencia, Malaga, Faro, and Palma de Mallorca. City breaks from Cork to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Seville, Rome, and Paris remain immensely popular at this time of year

Cork Airport’s Summer Schedule swings into action this weekend and flights will operate until the end of October. Over the coming days, flights to Alghero (Sardinia), Bordeaux, Frankfurt, Girona, Milan Bergamo, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Pisa, Reus, and Zurich will recommence. Ryanair will operate its flights to Venice throughout the summer and next week will switch from Venice Treviso to Venice Marco Polo Airport.
