In this video message, Dr Margaret O’Sullivan highlights the ongoing concern for the Department of Public Health about the rising numbers of Covid cases in Cork, and in Cork city in particular.

In the video, Dr O’Sullivan emphasises some key points which she wants everyone to pay heed

  • If you’re concerned about any symptoms, stay at home and contact your GP
  • If you’re  waiting for the results of a test, stay at home
  • If you’re the close contact of a case – stay at home
  • If you’re a case yourself – you need to stay at home, and stay in your own room.

She adds:

We may all feel that we’re ok, and that this advice is for others. None of it is easy. But remember, we’re all in this together and we all need to do the very best we can to prevent spread and to keep each other safe.
