Any lingering rain and drizzle will clear this morning, making way for sunny spells. In the afternoon, rain will spread from the Atlantic, turning heavy at times in the evening. Expect highest temperatures between 19 to 22 degrees with light to moderate westerly or variable breezes.

Tonight

Rain will clear tonight, leaving mainly dry conditions though it will remain rather cloudy. Lowest temperatures will be between 11 to 13 degrees, accompanied by a light northwesterly breeze.

Tomorrow – Tuesday 23rd July

Tuesday will be mainly dry with some sunshine. Highest temperatures will range from 19 to 22 degrees, with light northwesterly winds becoming variable in direction.

National Outlook

Tuesday night will be mostly dry, though cloud will increase from the west overnight, bringing light rain and drizzle to Atlantic coasts by dawn. Lowest temperatures will be between 9 to 14 degrees with a light variable breeze.

On Wednesday, rain and drizzle in the west during the morning will spread eastwards later in the day. Highest temperatures will be 19 to 21 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds. Wednesday night will be mainly dry with just isolated showers and lowest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in light southerly breezes.

Thursday will start with rain and drizzle, which will give way to clearer weather in the evening. Highest temperatures will be between 18 to 22 degrees in moderate westerly winds.

Friday will see sunshine and showers with light to moderate southwest winds and temperatures between 17 and 19 degrees.

Current indications suggest isolated showers on Saturday with longer sunny spells in between, with the potential for a drier day overall on Sunday, becoming warmer by Monday.
