Gardaí have been made aware of a recent phishing campaign where a link, to a fake website which is cloned from that of Revenue, is sent via SMS text offering a refund payment. These texts do not come from Revenue, they are in fact from fraudsters.

If a member of the public receives any SMS texts like this, they should report the matter to their local Garda Station, to any Garda station, or to the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666-111.
