Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to an assault incident that took place on Grand Parade, on the 13th of September 2019, at approximately 12:15am.

A man in his late teens was taken to Cork University Hospital with what is believed to be serious injuries. A man in his early 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Mayfield Garda Station under Section 4 of the criminal Justice Act, 1984.
