Met Éireann has issued a status yellow snow/ice warning for Ireland.

  • Forecasters are stating that scattered snow showers likely, most frequent in Ulster and Connacht. Ttemperatures set to plummet to possibly minus 3°C or minus 4°C in places.

Valid: Friday 24 November 2017 05:00 to Saturday 25 November 2017 12:00


Precautionary Gritting: starting at 22:00, further monitoring of road conditions during the night.

Routes: The South Ring Road #N40 as far as Ovens bridge, #M8 as far as the toll plaza, the #N25 as far as Junction 6 (#Whitegate,) the #N20 starting at The Commons Inn as far as the Killarney roundabout, the #N71 as far as the end of the dual carriageway, all routes start at the #DunkettleInterchange.
