UPDATE 22/11/2017:

Further heavy rain in southern and eastern parts of the provinces for a time this evening with flooding in places.

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Munster.

• Forecasters are stating that heavy rain expected to move up from the south overnight, clearing later Wednesday.  30 to 40mm are expected, but larger totals are possible on high ground.
