Showers continuing for the rest of the afternoon and should die out in the evening. These showers falling with a 14% risk of wintery and 30% risk of heavy downpours. Temps holding at 3ºC (-1ºC) and winds form a northerly direction at 10 to 22mph. 

Later this evening and into to tonight we see clear skies taking over and becoming cold with temps at 1ºC (-4ºC) with winds increasing to 12mph and gusting to 25mph from a northerly direction.

During the night it will be cold with temps at 0–C and feeling like -5ºC with the winds form NNW direction at 13mph and gusting to 27mph so cold indeed and widespread severe frost and possible icy patches. So be careful in the morning (early) with road conditions.

A cold day tomorrow expected with temps expected for the first half to get to around 1ºC (-3ºC).
