Met Éireann have issued a status yellow, snow/ice warning for Ireland.

• Air temperatures will fall to freezing or below early this morning, with widespread frost and ice on untreated surfaces. Scattered wintry showers also, these mainly in west Ulster, Connacht and west Munster.
