Cork City Council wants to support the health and wellbeing of everyone in our city, therefore we are temporarily changing the way in which we deliver our services.

Public offices:

Cork City Council continues to provide essential public services. In line with current public health guidelines, public offices will remain open on an appointment basis only.

We  are asking residents, businesses and communities to visit www.corkcity.ie or to call our Customer Service Unit at 021 492 4000 for help and to arrange any necessary appointments.

Community Response Forum

The Cork City Covid-19 Community Response Forum will be operating 7 days a week from 8am-8pm. This forum is in place to ensure that vulnerable members of our community in Cork City or those living alone can access vital grocery, medicine and fuel deliveries and social care supports.

All Cork City Council parks, playgrounds and allotments remain open.

Cork City and County Archives, Cork Public Museum, Elizabeth Fort, St Peters on North Main St, the Mahon Golf Course and Leisureworld swimming pools are all closed.

Car Parking:

Two hours free parking continues to be available at Cork City Council’s two multi-storey car parks at North Main Street and Paul St. The Black Ash Park & Ride facility will continue to operate.

Libraries:

Please be advised that libraries will be closed from Thursday 22 October as Click and Collect services are  suspended for Level 5. Online services are still available. You can avail of  e-services including e-books and e-audiobooks. Please contact 021 492 4900 for queries.

Reference and Local Studies are available for queries only via phone and email.

All memberships due to expire in the coming weeks and loan dates for items have been extended until December 2 2020.
