Gardaí have seized two knives in Cork City on July 6, 2020.

Shortly after 10am, Cork city Gardaí attached to the City Centre Policing Unit were on proactive beat patrol when they spoke to a man, aged in his 20s, at Kent Train Station.

The man was searched by Gardaí and was found to be in possession of two kitchen knives and a small amount of suspected cannabis herb.

The man was dealt with by Gardaí at the scene but was not arrested.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
