The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has recalled bottles of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, best before date: Mar 2021, pack size: 740ml due to a risk of the contents exploding (we kid you not!)

The FSAI say in a statement on their website that: ‘The above batch of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce is being recalled due to the risk of the contents exploding once the bottle is opened. This poses a risk of hot chili sauce irritating eyes or skin.’
