Retail Excellence, is a not for profit company which supports Irish retailers to be the best they can be. On Friday, Retail Excellence wrote to Tánaiste, Leo Varadkar and Taoiseach, Micheál Martin asking them to not close the retail industry as part of further restrictions. Retail Excellence said that at such a critical trading period, the damage to so many businesses would be significant. They are asking the Government to not cancel Christmas.
