PUBLIC ALERT: VISITING RESTRICTIONS, MERCY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Visiting restrictions have been put in place at the Mercy University Hospital due to an outbreak of the Norovirus (Winter Vomiting Bug.)

The Norovirus bug has the following symptoms:

  • Nausea
  • Severe Cramps
  • Diarrhoea

Visiting has been restricted to all areas of the hospital except those who are critically ill, with limits of two visitors per patient.

Visiting has been restricted to Parents and Grandparents of Children in St. Anne’s Ward, with limits of two visitors per patient.
