PUBLIC ALERT: VISITING RESTRICTIONS, CORK UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Update, March 7, 2016: The HSE has advised that restrictions are still in place in Cork University Hospital and has asked the public to minimise visits where possible to both the Emergency Department or to see patients.

Visiting restrictions have been put in place at Cork University Hospital due to an outbreak of the Norovirus (Winter Vomiting Bug.)

The Norovirus bug has the following symptoms:

  • Nausea
  • Severe Cramps
  • Diarrhoea
