Have you had a chance to check out the new Prime Cafe & Bakers in Paul Street yet?

Prime Cafe & Bakers are celebrating their first anniversary tomorrow (Wednesday, 15th.) Customers are invited to come along to join in on the celebrations, and for every drink or coffee purchased – you get a free home made muffin, valid all day!

The cafe is owned by Uranik Daka, a 21 year old originally from Kosovo who previously worked in a cafe in Cork City before deciding to open Prime Cafe & Bakers.

With the help of Mum Shqipe, Dad Hamit, and older brother Dardan’s help they managed to open a family run coffee shop in the middle of the pandemic! After a difficult few months during the lockdown, business is thriving and products are very popular!

Everything in store is baked fresh daily, and everything is homemade. A different selection of homemade cakes are available including Banana Bread, Various Pastries and also some Kosovan traditional dishes including Pitta Breads and Borek (pie filled with cheese) – a very popular dish!

Prime Cafe & Bakers wish to thank all their customers and friends for the support throughout the past year, and have asked for a special thanks to some senior ladies and gentlemen who attend the church in Paul Street for their support from day one as they opened the door to their new venture.
