Road Closure
Essential Works on the Bandon Road Interchange – South Ring Road (N40 – Junction 3.)
Dates: 10th November – 13th November 2017
Egis Lagan Services will carry out work on behalf of Cork City Council, westbound on the overpass on the Bandon Road Interchange (N40, J3.) It’s necessary to close the westbound carriageway of the overpass to carry out the works. The westbound overpass will close between:
- From: 21:00 Friday 10th November 2017
- Until: 06:00 Monday 13th November 2017
Diversion Route: Westbound traffic will be diverted from the N40 mainline onto the N71 westbound off-slip, from where they will travel through the Bandon Road Roundabout before returning to the N40. The diversion route will be locally signposted, and delays are expected. Extra time is advised for all journeys.
