A man in Cork was stopped by Gardaí today and presented a letter claiming that he was employed by a construction company on ‘Essential Building’ works within ‘Cork County & Kerry.’
Garda enquiries into the letter revealed that it was fake, and the man was issued with a €100 fine and returned to Waterford.
Gardaí are urging the public to please comply with regulations and to stay home, and stay safe.
