Looks like the brief view of summer that we had has ended, and the cold temperatures return!

Met Eireann are forecasting that showers will be slow to die out this evening and tonight but it will become eventually dry and clear overnight. Cold with lowest temperatures of between -1 and 2 degrees with a sharp frost in some rural areas. Winds will be light allowing patches of mist and fog to develop.

Tomorrow:

Cold, bright and sunny at first tomorrow. Showers will develop through the afternoon. Some will be heavy with a risk of hail and thunder. Highest temperatures 11 to 13 degrees in light to moderate northeasterly breezes.
