Port of Cork are advising that the fire is now under control, and no casualties have been reported. Emergency services remain on scene as the monitor the area. Ship operations in Ringaskiddy have been suspended.
A large fire has broke out this morning at the R&H Hall, Grain Stores in Ringaskiddy.
Cork Safety Alerts began receiving reports of the blaze at approximately 8.45 this morning. Multiple units from Cork County Fire Brigade are on scene, and units from the National Ambulance Service are also present.
Port of Cork tweeted asking local residents to keep all doors and windows closed, and to remain indoors. The Port Emergency Plan has also been activated.
