Gardaí have arrested two males in relation to a criminal damage incident on Bridge Street, Mallow on September 22, 2020.

At around 12.30pm two men exited a car and caused damage to another car. Gardaí attended and carried out a patrol of the area but no arrests were made.

Detectives from Mallow Garda station carried out an investigation and executed a search warrant, with the assistance of the Armed Support Unit, this morning. As a result, Garda arrested a juvenile and a man aged in his 20s.

During the course of the search Gardaí also seized a number of offensive weapons.

Both males are currently detained at Mallow Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
