No ATM on site this year folks as the supplier cancelled at the last minute. The bars all take tap as do some of the food vendors. There are multiple ATMs in Mitchelstown itself also.

Indiependence kicks off today and will take place at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown until Sunday (4th August.)

Headliners such as Bastille, Gavin James and Biffy Clyro take to the stage over the three day festival. Gates have just opened (4pm) and will open at 2pm tomorrow & 2pm on Sunday.

There will likely be travel delays shortly before opening, and just after closing as the festival takes place. Alternative routes would be advisable if travelling in the Mitchelstown area.

Car Park Opening Times

• Opens: 10am on Friday August 2nd Closes: Car Park is accessible from 10am each morning until 10pm each night depending on capacity. There is a cover charge of €10 per car for the weekend. We strongly encourage you to use public transport where possible.
• Parking Information: Limited parking just off site. There is a €10 fee per car parked on site, payable on arrival. Please car pool or use public transport! All parking is on grass and while every effort is made with roadways, ground covering and drainage, in the event of extremely heavy rain, parking may be moved to additional sites, please keep an eye on the website and social media closer to the event. There is a cover charge of €10 per car for the entire weekend.

Car Park is accessible from 10am until 10pm each night depending on capacity Note: Vehicular access out of the car park will be restricted at certain times due to pedestrian numbers. Once you have parked your car, please try to leave it so until its time to go home.

Open: 10am on Friday August 2nd Closes: 12pm on Monday August 5th. No re-entry permitted after this time.

MAIN ARENA

Opens: 4pm on Friday August 2nd
Opens: 2pm on Saturday August 3rd
Opens: 2pm on Sunday August 4th
Closes: Nightly at 2am

Getting to Indiependence

• Mitchelstown is located just off the M8 Motorway between Cork and Dublin. It is approximately 50km from Cork (40 Mins) and 200km from Dublin (2 Hrs). The festival venue is located just off the N23.
• From Cork: Follow the M8 northbound from Cork City. Head through the toll plaza. It should take you approximately twenty minutes from the toll plaza to the Mitchelstown exit (If you miss it, take the next one and follow the Dublin instructions from the exit above). At the top of the slip road, continue straight through the roundabout signposted Mitchelstown. Continue on this road (Its a 60km zone with a speed camera so slow down!) until you reach the next roundabout, again, straight through signposted Mitchelstown. This will take you down the main street of the town. Continue straight through the town until you come to a roundabout on the far side, take the third exit, signposted Dublin and the INDIEPENDENCE Music & Arts Festival site is on your left hand side.
