Gardaí in Gurranabraher assisted by the Armed Support Unit responded to reports of shots being fired in a residential estate in Knocknaheeney, Co. Cork on Thursday, 27th February 2020 at approximately 10.40pm.

A search was carried out in the area and Gardaí conducted a number of patrols over the course of the evening. No criminal damage was caused during the incident. No arrests have been made. Investigations ongoing.
