Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to a fire outside a barber shop on O’Brien Street, Kanturk on the 15th October 2019.

Shortly before 9pm, Gardaí received a report of a silver car on fire, flames from which had spread to the front of a barber shop on O’Brien Street. A man wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a grey top was seen running from the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the O Brien Street and Greenane area and who may have seen the incident or drivers who may have dashcam footage, to contact Kanturk Garda Station on 029-20680, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
