Reports have emerged this evening that Fota Wildlife Park has been the victim of a cyber attack. The attack is believed to have compromised the personal and financial data of customers who booked tickets between May 2024 and today. Fota Wildlife Park has advised all affected customers to carefully check their bank statements and to consider cancelling any cards used during that period.

In response to the attack, Fota Wildlife Park has taken its website offline as a precautionary measure. However, the park remains open to the public, and visitors can still purchase tickets directly at the kiosks on site.

Fota Wildlife Park has informed the Gardaí and other relevant authorities and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation. Further updates are expected as the situation develops.

For those who may have been impacted, it is recommended to monitor financial accounts closely and report any suspicious activity to their bank or card provider immediately.
