Gardaí have arrested a man and seized €3,200 of suspected drugs in Youghal, Co. Cork on July 26, 2020.

Shortly after 9.30pm Gardaí from Youghal executed a search warrant at a house in Parklands, Youghal. During the course of the search Gardaí seized €2,600 of cocaine and €600 of cannabis herb.

The suspected drugs were photographed by Gardaí will now be sent for analysis.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at the scene and brought to Midleton Garda Station. He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged.

He is due to appear before Youghal District Court on October 2, 2020 at 10.30am.
