The popular west Cork Cable Car, the Dursey Island Cable Car will close on Wednesday (23rd June) between 11am and 2pm for emergency training exercises. 

Cork County Council ap0logise for any inconvenience caused while the training is taking place.

Dursey Island Cable Car is Irelands only cable car, which links mainland Ireland with Dursey Island. The Cable Car is one of the few cable cars that cross the sea in Europe.
