At approximately 12 midday Gardaí received a report regarding a man’s body on Parnell Place in Cork City.

Gardaí are currently at the scene which has been preserved. The man, age unknown at present, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are currently trying to establish the circumstances of this incident and no further details are available at present.
