A number of city centre streets will be closed to facilitate the event from 1430hrs to 1800hrs.

Half Moon Street, St Augustine Street, Paul Street, St Patrick’s Street & Daunts Square will be closed to traffic. Lane restrictions will be in place on Washington Street, Grand Parade and Merchants Quay.

N40 South Ring Road – Special Works Speed Limit

• N40 Westbound Carriageway from top of the Kinsale Flyover to a point 300m west of where the Togher merge lane meets the N40.
• N40 Eastbound Carriageway from where the merge lane from the Bandon Road Roundabout meets the N40 to a point 150m east of where the Sarsfield Road Roundabout merge lane meets the N40.

In accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 Cork City Council hereby wishes to advise that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made at two separate locations on the N40 as per synopsis below:

• A 60 KPH special works speed limit to apply (in place of the current speed limit of 100KPH) on the N40 South Ring Road Westbound from the top of the Kinsale Flyover (E: 536475.45, N: 5747089.18) to a point 300m west of where the Togher merge lane meets the N40 (E: 535103.40,N: 5747343.63) and including merge ramps from the Kinsale Road Roundabout taking vehicles westbound on the N40.

The westbound special speed limit order will apply temporary speed limits at the above location from 24th June 2019 to the 30th August 2019.

• A 60 KPH special works speed limit to apply (in place of the current speed limit of 100KPH) on the N40 South Ring Road Eastbound from where the merge lane from the Bandon Road Roundabout  meets the N40(E: 533528.80, N: 5747351.90), to a point 150m east of where the Sarsfield Road Roundabout merge lane meets the N40 (E:534519.41, N: 5747384.96). Eastbound Merge and Diverge lanes at the Sarsfield road roundabout are to be included.

The eastbound special speed limit order will apply temporary speed limits at the above location from 2nd July 2019 to the 20th September 2019.
