It might be a night for the fire this evening, as Met Eireann forecast temperatures as low as -5C for Munster. It’s been a strange Christmas period; from storms to snow, to tce to some limited sun!

The official forecast states: Dry, clear and very cold inland tonight with lowest air temperatures -1 to -5 degrees with a widespread sharp to severe air and ground frost.
